The Cat of Black is an illustrated poem by me, DS Irvin. It evolved over several years, the first versions appearing with ink pen drawings in 1984 or so. The artwork versions appearing here were finally finished and assembled by 1999. Art Prints come in two sizes, 5 x 7" art on 8 x 10" paper and a larger 9 x 6 5/8" art on 8.5 x 11" paper, both laser printed on acid free card stock. Art Prints are hand signed and titled on the backs. ACEO (Art Cards, Editions & Originals) prints on this page are only offered here on the website. The cards measure the standard 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, are signed on the backs, hand numbered, laminated, and include the verse they illustrate. Prints and ACEO Cards listed are open editions. These prints & cards are laser printed in my studio, hand trimmed and ACEOs are laminated here as well.
They are in no way mass produced.
Prints and cards are priced as listed, you must add your postage for each card, first print or card is the cost of first item plus your mailing destination, added prints are 50 cents and cards are 20 cents additional each for mailing after you purchase your first print or card.

ACEO cards are hand signed and numbered on the backs, also there are 7 plates, each has its own verse from the poem printed on the back of the card. ACEO card prints are laminated.
