Altered Art Earrings
The artwork on these earrings is taken from an
original watercolor I did titled The Skulls Are Lucky Tonight.
They come with a Notecard of the same artwork with the title and the
original story (which accompanied the watercolor) on the back of the
card. It reads: This black Maneki Neko lucky cat is busy
beckoning a bevy of lucky skulls. He has paw raised in the
traditional good luck gesture and is seated upon an ethereal cloud
amongst the gold stars. The black variety of Lucky Cats is known for
warding off evil spirits and this fellow is bound to be successful
with so many helpful skulls!
The earrings are each individually hand made, they consist of
artwork that has been laminated and securely affixed to hand made
polymer clay backs, the artwork is framed with black glitter that is
securely held in place with art glaze. They have black polymer clay
backs which are stamped "3Cats". The earring artwork is strung with
smoke Czech glass beads, purple Cat's Eye beads, and shiny gunmetal
seed beads. Drops hang approximately 2 1/8" from Sterling Silver
French hook wires. They will arrive at their destination safely
resting in a gift box.
The accompanying note card is a quality color
laser print, printed on 67 lb. acid free cover stock. The card
measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and comes with a white envelope in a
protective plastic sleeve. The card inside is blank.

Daffodil Neko
Altered Art Earrings
These earrings were inspired by
a the watercolor I did titled "The Daffodil Neko." The artwork
represents a Lucky Maneki Neko Calico Cat holding a bouquet of
spring daffodils with his paw raised in the traditional good luck
gesture. They come with a Notecard of the same artwork with the
title of of the painting and it's original little story on the back
of the card. The story reads: "This Calico Maneki Neko with his paw
raised for the best of good luck is holding his daffodil bouquet.
The daffodil is associated with rebirth, new beginnings, unrequited
love, chivalry, the 10th wedding anniversary, and is the birth
flower for March. Calico Maneki Nekos are said to be the luckiest of
all the various lucky cat colors."

Altered Art Earrings
The artwork on these earrings is taken from an
original watercolor I did titled Two Pink Nekos for Luck in Love.
They come with a Notecard of the same artwork with the title and the
original story (which accompanied the watercolor) on the back of the
card. It reads: This piece features a large lucky pink cat -
with red collar and gold bell - atop a gold pillow holding a smaller
pink kitty who is befittingly clinging to a red heart. The two are
framed in a gold and red heart border..
